Hello, I’m Angela Langat-McGinnis, a wife to my very supportive husband Brandon, and mother of two lovely boys and a compassionate Labor and Delivery nurse.

However, photography is my passion!  I’m originally from Kenya, Africa.  I grew up in small tea farm in the town of Kericho.  I moved to San Diego, California to attend college.  Shortly after, I met my husband and started a family.  I visit my extended family in Kenya every few years.  These visits keep me grounded, as well as inspires my work as a photographer.

About the Experience

My style of photography  is one of no worries” Hakuna Matata.”    This is so you do not have to worry about a thing!

I have  been Labor and Delivery nurse for a while, so I'm comfortable with pregnant moms and Newborns. This has helped me transition as Newborn and Maternity photographer and after  6 years as school photographer I can  handle the challenges of families with small children.

You may see  some African influences in my photography, like a family exhibiting “laid back” attitude, strong family connections,   warm touches of love and color.
